If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
1. Our standard
ADORASOFT, which operates Connect Me, prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every part of the service: calls, chats, group chats, status updates, profile photos and names. We do not tolerate any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children, and we act on every report we receive.
2. What is not allowed
On Connect Me, nobody may:
- share, request or link to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, computer-generated or edited images;
- groom, entice or pressure a child into sexual conversation, images or a meeting;
- sexualise a child in messages, status updates, profile photos or names;
- threaten or blackmail anyone with intimate images of a child (sextortion);
- arrange, advertise or take part in trafficking or the exploitation of children;
- use Connect Me to contact a child for any of these purposes.
3. Who can use Connect Me
Connect Me is for people aged 16 and over, as our Terms of Service say. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it.
4. How to report in the app
Reports go to our safety team, and the person you report is not told who reported them.
- A person: open the chat, tap their name, then choose Report.
- A message: press and hold the message, then choose Report.
- A group: open the group's info, then choose Report group.
- A status update: open it, open its menu, then choose Report.
- You can also block the person from the same screen, so they can no longer call or message you.
5. How to report without the app
Email our child safety contact at connectme@adorasoft.net, or use the contact form and choose “Report a safety concern”. Tell us the phone number or name of the account, and what happened and when.
Please do not send us images or videos of child sexual abuse, even as evidence. Describe what you saw instead; we can preserve the material on our side.
6. What we do when we receive a report
- We review reports of child sexual abuse and exploitation first, ahead of every other kind of report.
- We remove the content and suspend the account at once; accounts involved in CSAE are closed permanently.
- We preserve the reported content and the account's records as evidence, rather than deleting them.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the appropriate authorities, as the law requires, and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
7. Compliance with the law
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the laws of Pakistan, where ADORASOFT is registered, and we respond to valid requests from law enforcement. These standards are part of our Terms of Service, and breaking them is a reason to close an account without notice.
8. Our child safety contact
ADORASOFT has a designated contact for child safety, who handles CSAE reports and questions from authorities and app stores about these standards: connectme@adorasoft.net.
